Getting started
ClearScreen is a DNS filter that runs on each Windows or Linux device. A workspace holds your policy, your device list and your block events.
Start a trial or buy a plan
- Open the ClearScreen buy page on spot-suite.com and choose Team or Business.
- Pay by card to start the 30-day trial, or choose invoice billing, which is paid from day one and has no trial.
- Choose the region for a paid workspace. Trials run in the EU.
- Wait for the confirmation. Your workspace address has the form
https://<workspace>.clear-screen.ai/app/.
Sign in
Open your workspace address and choose Sign in with Spot Suite. Every plan signs in with a Spot Suite account. Business workspaces can also use Microsoft Entra ID single sign-on through Spot Suite.
The console
The console has seven tabs.

| Dashboard | Devices used against the device cap, recent blocks and open reviews. |
| Reviews | Incorrect-block reports that people sent from the block page. |
| Policy | Blocked categories, allowlist, blocklist, custom categories and block page branding. |
| Devices | Enrolled devices with platform, last seen and block count. |
| Enrollment | The enrollment key, agent downloads and install commands. |
| Intune | Connect a Microsoft Entra app registration (Business plan). |
| Audit | Download recent block events as CSV or JSON. |
First steps
- Open the Policy tab and choose the categories to block.
- Open the Enrollment tab and enroll your first device. The next page walks through it.
- Open a blocked site on that device and check the block page and the Devices tab.
